The German Wine Route is internationally known for its magnificent wines, good food, favorable climate, and also its scenic charm. What many people don't know:

With its huge, signposted network of bike paths, it is a paradise for bikers. Whether on shady routes in the Palatinate Forest Mountain Bike Park or on a ride through the wine-growing villages and tree-lined paths in the sunny Rhine Valley - with current map material and the help of GPS, your tour will be a true pleasure.

Cycling on the German Wine Route

As Germany's largest connected forest area, the Palatinate Forest is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. This exceptionally beautiful area is thus protected. You can find out just how beautiful it is on the "Pfälzer Waldtour" from Kaiserslautern to Hinterweidenthal. Along 60 km, you will conquer 500 vertical meters. It is the perfect tour if you would like to enjoy the region in harmony with nature.

Cyclists on a country road

You can look forward to a signposted network of routes with a total of 900 km! Gorgeous landscapes and the exciting topography with diverse elevation profiles - the Palatinate Forest is considered the perfect mountain biking territory for many reasons with its narrow paths, steep climbs, and technically challenging downhill rides. The tours are signposted and equipped with GPS tracks. After the tour, you can store your mountain bike in our garage, and if small repairs are necessary, you will find a selection of tools there.

Previously an insider's tip, the Palatinate has long since achieved cult status among motorcyclists. A tour through the Palatinate Forest Nature Park shows what wonderful routes are awaiting motorcyclists. The panoramic rides are like a stroll through the eventful history of the region. Celts, Romans, Germanic people, Alemanni, Franks - they were all in the Palatinate in the past centuries. Territorial displacements, many different rulers, and numerous wars - the tumultuous history has left behind its traces in this wonderful area. On motorcycle, you can experience this in the truest sense of the word. The curvy roads, the many castles, and the fantastic views - the gently hilly landscape of the German Wine Route has the potential to be addictive. If you get hungry, the food is delicious in this region. Not to mention the quality of the wines. It can indeed be said that every excursion here is a pleasure for all the senses.
